Momma’s Baked Goods is looking for immediate openings for production staff in a commercial bakery. We are looking for motivated and dependable individuals to hire as Production Workers such as Bakers, Cake decorators, packagers, assistants, etc.

Our Production Workers help us to provide high quality Latin deserts for major retailers across the region. If you possess skills and attributes, such as multi-tasking, being team player and thrive at fast paced environments, then Momma’s Baked Goods wants YOU as part of our team!

Momma’s Baked Goods is a high-volume Bakery located in Sanford, FL. Founded in 2005, the company has expanded its Latin desserts manufacturing and acquired new business year after year and is constantly looking to grow and expand our team.

Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

· Reliability, integrity, and strong work ethic are essential.

· Basic math and computer skills.

· Professional appearance and attitude.

· Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

· Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time and lift heavy objects.

· Meet deadlines effectively.

· Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills

· Effectively instruct employees on your shift, demonstrate task instructions, measure key performance indicators, assist in team performance review. Previous leadership experience (preferred).

· Shows passion for the business, delivering results consistently and demonstrates a commitment to the company’s goal and values.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

· Abide by all MBG policies and procedures.

· Uphold MBG’s image and brand.

· Strong understanding of MBG’s decorating techniques and application of our designs.

· Candidate needs to be creative and be able to provide ideas for future designs.

· Perform quality checks on the presentation of the finished products.

· Clean and restock workstations, ensure all equipment is sanitized and ready for the next shift.

· Assist other departments when necessary.

· Has excellent attention to detail.

· Able to work efficiently and independently but still able take constructive criticism.

· Maintain inventory and supplies in the department.

· Provide management with a daily production sheet.

· Decorating experience preferred but will train if necessary.

High school or equivalent (Required)

US work authorization (Required)

Decorating experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Work Location:

Sanford, Florida

Hours per week:

30 – 40 hours, with possible overtime.
