We are expanding our operation to include medical device manufacturing. This is a terrific opportunity to join a growing dynamic work group that will be located in our new Bellingham, WA facility.

We are seeking Assemblers to work as part of a team responsible for assembling orthotic and prosthetic medical devices as well as individuals to perform thermo and injection molding. This is your chance to be part of an impressive team of people and contribute to an environment focused on continuous innovation in a range of diverse manufactured products.

Multiple positions are available in various departments:

  • General assembly of orthotic medical devices
  • Molding, cutting, grinding, and/or shaping of plastics for orthotic medical devices
  • Injection molding for the manufacturing of lower limb prosthetic cosmeses

Responsibilities.

  • Perform all tasks conducted by the team and rotate through one or all tasks in the production process within individual departments.
  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.
  • Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process.
  • Align material and put together parts to build more complex units.
  • Deburring and smoothing edges to complete a quality product.
  • Perform quality checks on products and parts.
  • Sweep, or otherwise clean work areas.
  • Package finished products.
  • Keep records of production quantities and time.
  • Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus or the completion of a manufacturing technical program will substitute as experience.
  • Enthusiasm and desire to do a good job.
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail and quality is essential.
  • Ability in using hand tools (e.g., clamps) and machines (e.g., presses).
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions.
  • Good written and verbal communication.
  • Must be able to understand and comply with Safety Practices.
  • Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion.

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
