Job Description

Oracle has an exciting role for a Product Marketing Manager in the Advertising and Customer Experience team covering marketing products. This is your chance to market to marketers just like you! Oracle’s marketing solutions are “leaders� according to Gartner and Forrester and have prestigious brands like Eloqua with a large customer base.

Audience understanding, technical aptitude, compelling story-telling, and cross-team influence are your superpowers. You’ve lived in the B2B environment and understand many routes to market via direct and indirect sales activities. You also have broad exposure to different aspects of B2B marketing, including content development, customer marketing, building loyalty, and campaigns/demand and ABM. You are equally happy meeting with technical product folks as well as high-energy sales managers. You can synthesize customer and market needs, the changing competitive landscape, and product differentiators to meet revenue and market penetration targets. Working closely with the product, marketing, and sales organizations, the ability to develop and articulate differentiated messaging consistently across sales and marketing channels is paramount.

The role of Product Marketing Manager for Oracle Marketing solutions, focused on B2B product offerings, will have primary or shared responsibilities for:

  • Working with market research and insights to segment the market and establish buyer insights across key segments, identifying what opportunities, challenges, and dynamics exist to grow and retain revenue
  • Defining sales plays for your product area, working closely with field leaders globally, and developing level 1 (top of funnel) sales content to support these global sales plays
  • Working closely with our global marketing teams, developing clear, crisp, and differentiated positioning that guides messaging and marketing content in support of demand generation campaigns
  • Writing compelling content for blogs, web, sales decks, and other channels
  • Ensuring product innovations are effectively communicated to the market every quarter
  • Being the point of contact in global product marketing for product leadership as it relates to your areas of responsibility

To support the wide range of responsibilities encompassed within this role, the candidates must possess an equally broad set of skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to establish and leverage KPIs to make decisions in line with overall business objectives
  • Strong project planning and management skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships with functions outside of product marketing across product and GTM teams
  • Demonstrated success in working across teams to listen, consolidate information, and make decisions is critical
  • Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced organization and unphased by ambiguity and competing priorities
  • Proven ability to succeed in a team-based, collaborative environment

Experience & Education

  • 5+ or more years of related product marketing experience, ideally in martech
  • Experience in marketing solutions within the Customer Experience domain preferred – marketing, sales, service, commerce, loyalty
  • Product marketing in a technology company with demonstrated success in launching winning products in the cloud
  • Ability to provide examples of go-to-market strategies and programs for prior roles in a related field, with the corresponding impact on revenue contribution .



Development and implementation of business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for a product/service or vertical market.

As a product analyst you will participate in every stage of the product life cycle to ensure product meets the needs of users. Drive the implementation of programs in support of the marketing strategy, business plans, and forecasts for assigned product lines. Maintains current status of customer specifications for existing and future products. Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing opportunities in support of product line objectives. Drive product functionality delivering high quality product documentation. Lead products through scheduled release assisting others to manage commitments and resources. Measure and report progress and review deliverables.

Job duties are varied and complex utilizing independent judgment. May have project lead role. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Excellent written and verbal communication. Demonstrated product/project management experience. Thrives in fast paced environment Team player.
