Job Description
General Responsibilities: We’re looking for a passionate Full Stack Product Manager who knows how to help define, de-risk and execute against a product vision. You will be collaborating with customers and colleagues on cross-functional and co-located product teams. The role demands strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, technical fluency, empathy, humility and an appreciation for and understanding of lean start up, agile and user-centred design values, principles and practices.

Job Contributions

STRATEGY & EXECUTION

  • Ship successful products, including defining vision, strategy, outcome-driven product roadmaps and creating and managing backlogs
  • Define and prioritize product features

  • Ability to collaborate well with engineers, designers, and clients
  • Demonstrated ability to influence decision making in different contexts

CUSTOMER FOCUS

  • Quickly understand a specific client domain and identify the trends and opportunities in that space

Essential Requirements:Educational Background:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.


Professional Experience:
  • Experience in modern development practices in digital/mobile software development including web services, a strong understanding of Microservices, AWS, Containerization techniques such as DEE and Kubernetes NoSQL, RESTful APIs, modern build systems such as Maven, Gradle and version control (Git). Experience in designing and implementing architectures using cloud native technologies.
  • 5+ years of IT Management experience in a progressive development environment.
  • 10+ years of total IT experience including computer operations management, multiple roles in systems implementation, supervision of technical personnel, architecture, security, business-wide strategic planning and budgetary responsibility.
  • Verifiable track record of effective leadership which includes successful execution with technical and intellectual resources.
  • Proficient in modern architecture stacks, SOA, relational DBs, stateless APIs, etc.
  • Cloud Application management and deployment using scripts. Automation experience using GIT, Jenkins, Nexus, Gerrit or similar.
  • Experience with the networking, performance, security and operational aspects of the AWS environment.
  • Knowledge:
    • Working knowledge of 12 factor development.
    • Excellent understanding of current enterprise software technologies and development practices/tools, including virtual environments, source control, remote development, issue tracking, build and test automation, and networking management.
    • Working knowledge of DEVOPS/CI/CD processes, roles and tools such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef.
    • Current skills ins a cloud friendly programming language (Java, Node.js, GO etc).
    • Working skills with and IDE platform such as Eclipse, STS.
    • Working knowledge of material required for the AWS Developer certification.
    • Familiarity with the technical topics covered in the AWS Architecture (Associate) certification

    • Expert in leading large global data migrations and integration efforts.
    • Expert in leading technical migration, data integration and consolidation activities from traditional to cloud data structures.

    • Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
