Job Description


Experian is looking for a Product Manager in our Fraud and Identity Product Management team, preferred with specific experience in Financial Services, FinTech, Payments, and/or e-Commerce industry. A plus if any Fraud, Identity, Authentication, and/or Financial Crimes background, however, not required. This individual should be willing to learn, adapt quickly, and have a curious inventive streak to leverage to this rapidly changing fraud and identity ecosystem. The candidate will assist in validating solutions and working with our Director, Fraud and Identity Product Management and team to build our strategic vision and related roadmap for our flagship Fraud and Identity offering Precise ID. They will build up their product expertise and work with our development team to share requirements, prioritize and deliver key features, functionality, and innovation. Assist as a central point of contact in the product organization for sales, development, marketing, and other cross functional groups and business units.

What you’ll be doing

  • This position in the high growth, evolving environment of Fraud and Identity Product Management will be responsible for the following key activities:
  • Contribute to the strategy, planning, and execution around our identity and fraud product solutions
  • Coordinates the execution of client projects with a variety of internal functional areas to ensure success
  • Conducts research and analyzes data on product positioning, pricing, revenue, competitor products and services, and market trends to identify relevant solution bundles
  • Speaking to internal and external customers to collect feedback to prepare and update product data
  • Working with the development team to deliver quality features and products within expected timelines
  • Assist in developing of key GTM messaging. Support product promotion including collateral, trade shows, press releases, sales training, and product briefs. Attends trade shows and conferences.
  • Track product performance, assess contribution to revenue and market position along with recommending product or marketing modifications to optimize value and increase market share
  • Engage with multiple functional areas and partners to communicate and plan our roadmaps

Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in related industries (Financial Services, FinTech, Payments) preferred as well as Fraud/Identity
  • Strong knowledge of product management strategies, concepts, and principles
  • Willingness to quickly learn and soak up knowledge from the team and external sources/industry
  • Good problem solving and analytic skills, ability to make decisions and justify them in a rational manner
  • Good project management and organizational skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Good ability to be creative – this is a key feature of any successful product manager
  • Team player with a proactive approach who can work as part of a dynamic team and can take on unfamiliar tasks when necessary and provide support to the product management team
  • Ability to work in high-pressure environment often with tight deadlines
  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
