We are looking for a passionate Product Design Lead to join our innovation accelerator. As a member of this small, but highly nimble team you’ll be instrumental in leading products from discovery to iterative delivery. You are a user-focused innovator & design thinker. You deliver excellence in a Lean UX environment, where hypothesis driven testing and continuous learning drive the cadence of our projects.

As the Product Design Lead, you’ll excel at:

  • Catalyzing the UX research and design activities to deliver excellent web and mobile solutions. This will include helping define the strategy (the “what” and the “why”) of new projects, as well as delivering high-fidelity, detail-oriented mock-ups to illustrate design proposals that solve user pain-points
  • Facilitating client and team discussions/ design sprints and other workshops to gather user and business needs, and feedback. • Designing and executing user research plans from recruiting through to usability testing and final presentation of findings.
  • Participating in other design research and project discovery sessions.
  • Developing key design documents such as personas, user flows, wireframes, prototypes and visual design concepts
  • Presenting, discussing, advocating and iterating your work with engineering team and client.

The position will be a balance of remote and in-office presence for collaboration purposes and will be located in Denver, Boston, or NYC.

Typical salary range for this position is $82,100 to $125,600, and is commensurate with experience relative to the position.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
  • A portfolio of in-depth case studies that demonstrate your design mastery.
  • Proven industry experience leading design and/or product teams.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and experience facilitating workshops.
  • Excellent skills in both client and project management.
  • A deep understanding of design principles, user interfaces, and usability; especially in relation to digital product design.
  • Experience using modern design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Figma, InVision).
  • Critical thinking skills that allow for creative problem solving
  • Collaborative approach to team work and desire to build bridges with other teams
  • History of working with a globally distributed team
  • Proven experience delivering native iOS and responsive designs
