Job Description

The Procurement Purchase Receiver is responsible for receiving purchased diamond and gemstone shipments into the Oracle computer system. This person will also perform various duties related to inventory control and quality assurance.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Open vendor/customer packages under a security camera and distribute them accordingly
  • Data entry to key in and validate vendor shipments to process with strong attention to detail.
  • Enter product information into Oracle, inventory management system
  • Edit and/or close Customer purchase advices as per customer instructions
  • Accurately edit order entries for all Diamond and Gemstone vendors with both melee and serialized products.
  • Speak on the phone or email with customers when necessary
  • Assist in RTU and Shipping Prep areas when necessary

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills while being organized with time, work details and workspace
  • High level customer service skills

  • Integrity in business practices and when working with others


Experience:


  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent GED, with a background in a Customer Support role and/or technical support role.
  • Order Entry or Order Management software system experience highly preferred
  • Data entry job in previous work history
  • If have knowledge of Diamonds or Gemstones could help them adapt quicker
