We are proud to offer a superb opportunity to be the Private Chef and Personal Assistant to the owner of a leading Real Estate Development Company in the Delaware Valley. The ideal candidate must be detail oriented, maintain excellent time management skills, expect flexible scheduling, have a creative and healthy culinary mindset, and accept multiple tasks. The primary duty of this position is to cook at the executive's personal residence in Bryn Mawr, Pa and Longport, NJ.

Chef Duties include:

Availability to serve lunch and dinner daily during the week. These meals must be healthy, low calorie, using the latest fresh ingredients. Ability to prepare and serve for small dinner parties.

Personal Assistant Duties:

  • Shop at the local markets, the pharmacy, etc.

  • Light home maintenance- Coordinate with gardeners, pool maintenance, and general house repairs.
  • Changing light bulbs.
  • Maintain inventory of home supplies.
  • Executives Cars- Maintain car collection by providing up-to-date maintenance.
  • Making sure cars are kept cleaned and gassed.
  • Chauffeuring is required on a limited basis, such as driving to the airport and New York City.

  • Greet guests- answer the door or answer the telephone.

  • Swimming Pool- Check and coordinate with the pool maintenance company as necessary.
  • Fresh Flowers- Keep flowers in the house and maintain live plants.
  • Landscaping- schedule to ensure the house is well manicured and the garden on property is maintained
  • Wine Cellar- Accept shipments of wine and store in cellar. Document wines on the computer inventory list.
  • Keep an accurate record of the money you are spending each month using the AMEX credit card or cash you received. Must keep copies of all receipts.

Additional Items:

  • Appearance- Look neat and professional at all times. Black pants and a dress shirt when performing daily work and a chef uniform when cooking and entertaining.
  • Computers/Technology- Help with computers, printers, iphones, ipads. It is important to help homeowners with day to day issues with computers and apple devices.
  • Traveling- Maintain the house (stay there) if owners are traveling, care for the dog. Deliver and pick up homeowners to/from the airport. Have food in refrigerator and light meal and fruits available upon their return.
  • Shore House- In summer they travel to Longport, N.J. Duties would include the same as the Bryn Mawr house. There is no set schedule. They generally go to the seashore from Thursday to Sunday. You will be expected to be available for dinner parties of up to 10 guests on Friday and/or Saturday evening(s) and a casual Sunday Brunch.

A separate private condominium near the main house will be provided for your use.
