Job Description

Full-time evening shift, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Employee will have the opportunity to operate a state of the art press brake machine.

The press brake operator applies a basic understanding in the operation and maintenance of machines and tools utilized in the manufacturing environment. Knows primary position/job well and understands customer/supplier relationships. Able to call up programs and run parts according to program/prints.

Measures work pieces to verify conformance to specifications.

The press brake operator positions, produces, and bends parts in specified relationship to each other per the manufacturing schedule. Produces work that conforms to customer specifications and customer standards understanding the importance of doing it right the first time before passing it on. Refers to blueprints, technical drawings, and other written directions.

Maintains a clean and safe work station, maintains and wears all required personal protective safety equipment.

Works at different work stations as production needs require or shifts from one station to another. Able to promptly produce quality work that satisfies customer requirements.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand. The employee frequently is required to use hands to fingers in handling, grasping, or feeling objects, tools, or controls for an extended period of time. The employee must be able to occasionally work above the shoulder height and frequently have neck flexion and extension. The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit and frequently required to see, talk, and hear. The employee must occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
