Preschool Director

The right candidate will operate the Claymont Preschool at St. Mark Presbyterian Church to provide a quality education and socialization experience for all children. This individual will:

• Recruit, train, and retain sufficient teaching staff for every classroom.
• Develop a business plan, maintain the budget, establish and implement schedules for recruiting new enrollees, retain existing students, developing a format and curriculum to maintain success.
• Perform appraisals of teachers and address discipline issues as appropriate. Manage and execute the teaching contracts.
• Ensure the implementation of security procedures to protect children, adults, and the church school's assets and property.
• Keep church Head of Staff apprised of progress of the school through meetings and notes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $34,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
