We are looking for someone who is: -Coachable and able to coach- Confident-Excellent with verbal and written communication-Good listening and follow up skills-Able to work with others, avoids gossip-Solution and detail orientated-Strong classroom management and organizational skills-Multitasking and stress management skills are essential for this position Responsibilities: * Work in the classroom when ratios require* Conduct tours and answer phone calls in a professional manner* Collaborates with other members of the management team to provide ongoing feedback for teaching staff* Creates a culture of engagement by empowering teachers to find solutions for themselves* Maintains confidentiality* Use of Procare software (will train)* This role may require to work in shifts, flexibility is a plus* Deal with situations in a timely and effective manner* Coordinate front desk activities, distributing correspondences and redirecting phone calls Qualifications: * Minimum of one year working in an administrative position, preferably in a licensed Early Childhood Program* Must meet state licensing training requirements* Must be able to work between 5:45Am to 7:00 pm

Preschool Assistant Manager
This is a Management position.
Kidz Rocket Privately owned accredited school. We are currently looking for a qualified Preschool Assistant Manager. We are looking for a candidate who has strong Leadership skills, an early childhood experience (2+ years of working in a large childcare center (100+ children), AND great people skills to serve our Private Preschool children whose ages range from infants through after-school care.
The position is a full-time salaried position where you will be under the supervision of the School Director.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR AN ASSISTANT MANAGER
Greet and converse with teachers and parents to build trusted relationships.
Provides professional support for the teachers and identifies staff training needs.
Confidently make on the fly scheduling decisions to direct teachers where to go.
Understands Texas Child Care Licensing requirements ensuring the school's compliance.
Control variable costs including payroll and supplies.
Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT MANAGER
2 years’ experience in the childcare industry as an assistant manager and/or as a teacher in a large childcare center (100+ children).
An Associate or a Bachelor’s Degree.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Strong organization skills, and can multi-task.
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children.
