Pre-K Teacher

We are growing rapidly and currently interviewing for one Lead and one Assistant Pre-K Classroom Guide. Our ideal work family consists of individuals who share similar qualities such as a positive mindset, a passion for early childhood education, initiative, creativity, and willingness to grow and learn as a teacher.

Montessori is a child-led method where children are empowered and encouraged to learn and grow through natural curiosity, play, and collaborating with their peers.

We believe in viewing our students as individuals who deserve our utmost respect. This classroom will work with students ages 2.5 years to 3.5 years. This is a transition classroom where they are a bit more advanced for the toddler room but not quite ready for our Primary room (ages 3-6).

The schedule would be 8.5 hours Monday-Friday between 8:30 A.M. and 5:30 P.M. We are closed weekends.

The following is a list of our required qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED

• Experience working with toddlers and/or preschoolers in a childcare setting

• Be innovative, personable, patient, and willing to take initiative

The following is a list of our highly preferred qualifications:

• CDA or Early Childhood Education experience and/or degree

• Knowledge of Montessori curriculum is preferred, but we will train the right candidate

• CPR/First Aid (if renewal is needed, we will schedule a class)

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
