Power BI Developer
Position Responsibilities
Serve as lead in designing and developing ETL (MSBI) code for efficient and scalable data transformations in the Enterprise Data Warehouse
Extend and maintain the EDW/Mart data layers – Type II SCD dimensions and facts
Work closely team members such as Data Analysts, QA and other ETL engineers to develop and release new capabilities as well as research technical requirements and resolve issues
Ensure the quality, completeness, security, privacy, and integrity of data
Implement code changes and follow CICD processes including code check in, code reviews, JIRA updates and releases
Source control experience preferably TEAMS Foundation Server (TFS) / Azure DevOps
Participate in client calls and prepare the clarification list to seek clarifications
Prepare the list of requirements and seek review inputs from the key stakeholders
Update requirements traceability matrix
Create impact analysis document for simple change to understand the impact on the existing functionality as required
Position Qualifications:
The Azure Data Engineer would need to have at least 7+ years of experience of data arc
Bachelors in science, engineering or equivalent
Good Communication and Good demeanor towards Learning
7+ years of IT experience as data warehousing Data modeling and Warehouse design.
2+ years in a solution design role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS PaaS and SaaS platforms.
2+ years in a platform/product architecture/development role
Hands on Azure Data Factory Azure DataBricks SparkSQL
Azure Cloud Security Key vault Data secure in Rest and in transit.
Azure Devops setup for CI/CD pipelines for deployment.
Experience with ETL/ELT
Good technical expertise with the Microsoft BI Stack (T-SQL SSIS SSAS SSRS). Additional skills like Power BI reporting is welcome.
