Job Description
Independence Title Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of Title Resource Group (TRG), is seeking an experienced Policy Typist. TRG is a full-service title, settlement, underwriting and vendor management services company serving real estate companies, affinity groups, corporations and financial institutions in support of residential and commercial real estate transactions.

Title Resource Group is in the business of making houses into homes coast to coast. Once the deal is sealed, TRG completes all the necessary work in the title and home closing settlement process to transfer ownership of the property and bring the real estate transaction to a successful conclusion. TRG helps facilitate all aspects of the purchase process to help agents and their customers get deals done. We work with customers, financial institutions, insurance companies, real estate agents and brokers – both within and outside the Realogy family – to ensure all the I’s are dotted and T’s are crossed so deals close on time. When all the documents are signed, the funds are wired, the keys are exchanged and the transactions are recorded, TRG’s work continues as it also insure title policies in connection with the real estate transactions. In 2018, TRG was involved in the closing of approximately 176,000 transactions with net revenue at nearly $580 million.

The Policy Typist is responsible for:
- Typing/printing title policies and pulling policy jackets
- Reviewing work for accuracy
- Scanning and preparing policies for mail out
- Meeting production standards consistently as outlined by management

- Must have excellent communication skills (oral & written)

- Must work with Escrow Teams to successfully resolve policy related issues in positive and professional manner

Qualifications:
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required
- A minimum of 2 years of current title policy preparation experience or current background in Escrow is required
- Experience with RamQuest strongly preferred, but not required
- Microsoft Suite proficient
- Must be able to work regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8am – 5pm (with 1 hour lunch)
