RotoCo, Inc. is looking for exceptional plumbing/drain Support Technicians to join our team of talented Technicians. A successful candidate for this position is motivated, hard-working, and able to provide excellent customer service while making the most out of every job. Support Technicians perform plumbing services alongside our experienced plumbers, ranging from simple faucet repairs and drain cleaning, to water heater installations and plumbing system replacements for both residential and commercial customers.

REQUIREMENTS

• MUST have a valid California driver’s license & clean driving record

- no moving violations

• MUST have a clean criminal history and be able to pass a drug test
• Ability to work weekends and (1) on-call night shift per week
• Willingness to be a team player
• Experience in the general construction industry with general labor and/or handyman work preferred, but not required
• Basic understanding of drain cleaning preferred, but not required
• Ability to run heavy equipment such as a Bobcat, Backhoe, etc. is a plus!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to enter and exit trucks without endangering yourself or others
• Able to lift heavy equipment, water heaters, toilets, etc.
• Able to work in the heat and observe proper safety precautions while doing so

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Check-in with Branch Manager and Dispatcher each morning
• Ensure your appearance is "Roto-Rooter ready!" before arriving at the shop to start your shift

- Neatly groomed, uniform is clean, and your shirt is tucked in

• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked company vehicle
• Receive dispatch notifications to jobs on company-provided phone
• Communicate with your foreman on day-to-day tasks
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues under the supervision of tenured plumbing technicians
• Assist with plumbing repairs & installations: Clogged drains, pipes, garbage disposals, toilets, water heaters, sinks, crawl space & under home, as well as excavation and sewer mainline repairs
• Communicating with management on any needed company vehicle or equipment repairs and assisting with regular maintenance
• Perform all work in an efficient and professional manner
• Attend monthly tailgate meetings
• Follow ALL company policies and procedures

Pay: $28,000-$40,000 a year, DOE

• Monday to Friday
