Job Description

SUMMARY:

Candidate will be making chemical adds to baths or sumps to ensure PWB's are properly etched. Loads and unloads parts on Chemical Plating System; Monitors quality of chemical baths and reports any deviations to Washline & Plating Lead for regulation; other duties as assigned

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate line per work instructions.
  • Responsible for keeping area clean.
  • Contribute/participate in continuous improvement activities.
  • Required to comply with all work, Safety and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • May be required to perform other duties assigned
  • Through use of a computer interface, candidate must be able to enter operating parameters, job information and view various screens to decipher proper operating settings.
  • Be able to operate and maintain the various pieces of equipment within the department.
  • Measure out the proper quantities and make chemical adds to baths or sumps.

Qualifications:

  • ***PREVIOUS PLATING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED***
  • Must be able to interpret work instructions.
  • Ability to complete manual lift as required for tasks
  • Prompt and regular attendance.
  • Communicate both verbally and written form.
  • 1-2 years Cu plating experience preferred, not necessary
  • High school diploma preferred not required.
  • Ability to stand throughout entire shift.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of process chemistry.
  • Familiarity with computers
  • Ability to work in and around chemicals
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Position will require candidate to stand, walk, push and pull transportation carts between depts.
  • Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
  • Knowledge in the following PCB plating equipment and processes: Outer Layer etch (SES), electroytic copper plating, Electroless process.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to read, write and comprehend the English language in order to communicate well with our vendors, internal suppliers and interpret invoices.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.

Wage: DOE + Shift Differential + 90 Day Review

Schedule: 12 hour shift

Sunday to Wednesday

6 pm to 6 am
