Job Description

Summary:

The Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) is recruiting a board certified/board eligible physician for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. The successful candidate for this position may be considered for appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor, commensurate with experience and achievements. The ideal candidate will be fellowship trained and have experience in a broad range of general plastic surgery, including complex reconstruction of oncologic and traumatic deformities. Exceptional teamwork, program development, teaching and mentorship abilities are essential. The candidate is expected to integrate seamlessly into a busy practice in Boston and develop a network of community plastic surgical care in a BILH-affiliate. A track record of academic productivity is essential as the candidate will be expected to be involved actively in the research program of the division.
