Schedules and coordinates flow of work within or between departments of manufacturing plant to drive production.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate flow of work within departments of manufacturing plant to drive on time delivery to customers.
  • Build and schedule production orders to meet timely delivery performance.
  • Assemble production order packets and verify accurate drawings are included.
  • Review Unscheduled customer and inter-company purchase order (ICPO) backlog on a daily basis.
  • Assess backlog and output by process line.
  • Resolve material shortages with Purchasing and collaborate with warehouse on off-site storage pick-list.
  • Respond to Customer Service on lead time requests, expedite requests, and direct shipping requests.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to kick-start jobs on hold (e.g. resolve problems with job quantity, rejects, missing prints, material shortages, etc).
  • Resolve production order variances and cost of goods issue (COGI) errors.
Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university, or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a strong knowledge of SAP Inventory warehouse transactions, Customer Service and shipping screens. Must know how to interpret error messages associated with the items that are being blocked from receiving the items in or shipping the items.
