Physician Assistant ONLY - Urology, Full-time, Days

Northwestern Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Physician Assistant to work in our Urology clinic located at Central DuPage and Delnor hospitals (50/50 split). This position is ~40% I/P and ~60% O/P. PA will work in the urology OP clinic and round on post-surgical patients. May have some potential to work in the OR.

Shift: M-F, days; with an occasional weekend.

The Physician Assistant (SL) - II reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization’s Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.

This physician assistant is credentialed and in good standing on the Northwestern Medicine Medical Staff. Additionally, this physician assistant meets the requirements listed in RMG's Physician Practice Agreement.

Required:

• Master’s or bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
• Current license as a Physician Assistant in the State of Illinois
• Once licensed may apply for a controlled substance license and DEA number
• Privileged and credentialed through the NMH Medical Staff Office (MSO)
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation – BLS, issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of two (2) years of PA experience

Preferred:

• ACLS certification
• Urology experience
