We are looking for a Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Inpatient Interventional Cardiology team at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital. We're helping move cardiovascular care forward regionally and nationally through our MedStar Heart & Vascular Institute with clinical research, better diagnostic tools, and advanced treatments that are always patient-focused.
For decades, MedStar Union Memorial Hospital has served as a regional hub for heart and vascular care. Our unique partnership with the Cleveland Clinic Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute grants our patients unmatched access to innovative care and research.
In this role, the PA/NP would be responsible for managing pre-procedure prep and post procedures and primarily take care of Cardiac Surgery patients. They will be working 100% in the inpatient setting doing consults and presenting patients to the surgeon. There will be 5 other full-time APPs on the team. Within this specialty, this provider will have immediate access to very experienced APP peers and physicians to learn and grow in their career.
The scheduling for this role will be in 3 12-hour shifts from 7am to 7pm and there will be rotating weekends. There will also be a rotation-based schedule for holidays, and there is on-call but no night shifts.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Education/Training: Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred.
