Job Description
Part-time adjunct teaching faculty-ranked appointment. Salary commensurate with the experience of the applicant, in graduate education in the field, related full-time occupational employment, and full-time equivalent teaching.
Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in philosophy or related field; or Master’s degree with 18 graduate semester hours in philosophy. The selected candidate must be able to successfully pass the college’s pre-employment security screening.
Preferred Qualifications Community college and online teaching experience, and experience with Canvas are preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated ability to place a strong emphasis on student-centered learning and provide an innovative e-learning experience. Demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively with multi-cultural populations that support diversity, cultural understanding and inclusion is preferred. Experience teaching online courses (both synchronous and asynchronous); and experience with Zoom are preferred. Experience with dual enrollment is also preferred.
