Job Description
Education/Formal Training: High school diploma required; structured healthcare training (Pharmacy Tech program) required; current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board certification required; registered with the NC Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of employment required; prior healthcare experience preferred, primarily in hospital or retail pharmacy.
Function: To provide technical support and assistance to pharmacist as permitted by state law to ensure all required medications are dispensed accurately and that appropriate documentation of dispensing is maintained.
