Job Description
Under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist, compounds and dispenses medical prescriptions. May be expected to perform related clerical duties. Receives and stores incoming supplies. Verifies stock and enters data in computer to maintain inventory records.
Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Typically reports to supervisor or manager. High school diploma or its equivalent required and six (6) months of clinical experience in a medical facility or drug store OR current enrollment as a pharmacy student OR enrollment in a pharmacy tech program required.
May be expected to meet certain state certifications.
