Job Description
Great opportunity for PC/Network Support Technician needing a flexible schedule. Downtown Fort Myers office is offering flexible part-time hours. Monday through Friday, 26-30 hours, 3-4 days a week; no nights or weekends. For the right candidate there is the potential of the position turning into full time.
Ideal candidate must possess the following abilities:
Required: An above average knowledge of PC?s and Office 365 Apps Software. Understand and be able to function and troubleshoot an Active Directory domain network utilizing multiple servers/switches. Some knowledge of Server 2019, and VMWare. A solid working knowledge of large-scale network printers and faxes. Ability to understand and troubleshoot Scan to Server/Email functionality. Willingness to learn Thompson Reuters Suite of software to help troubleshoot issues prior to calling support. Some knowledge of Cloud based VOIP phone system desirable.
Desirable, but not required: Knowledge of server-based backup software, knowledge of camera systems.
Successful Candidate will be expected to perform the following tasks without assistance:
? Investigates user problems and identifies their source; determines possible solutions; tests and implements solutions.
? Document all IT issues and update daily activities in Manage Engine Service Desk software.
? Updates asset information into Manage Engine Service Desk software.
? Escalate cases to IT vendor/subcontractors and follow up.
? Learns Thompson Reuters Suite of software to assist in troubleshooting and first call resolution.
? Install, configure and maintain company computers, other related equipment, devices and systems; add or upgrade printers, scanners, and related equipment.
? Performs software and application installation and upgrades.
? Creates and maintains network documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.
? Maintains confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored or accessed by the end-users on the network.
? Maintain and organizes spare equipment, replacement parts, software, and tools in the IT area.
? Communicates with External IT Vendor for Server/Network issues/changes.
?Hourly Starting Pay $22.00 - $35.00 depending on experience. No benefits offered for Part Time employees at this time.
Must pass detailed Background check prior to employment.
Must have a valid Driver?s License and reliable transportation of your own.
