Responsibilities:

  • Lead Bi-weekly Confidential payroll processing including:
    • New hires/terminations
    • Approve all one-time payments and compensation changes
    • Process benefit adjustments
    • Process LOA adjustments
    • Load compensation and bonus EIBs
    • Run audit reports
    • Complete payroll reconciliations
    • Settle payroll
  • Support the Compensation Team during periodic salary and bonus processes in March, June, and December
  • Support the LOA Team with configuration and ongoing administration of multiple company and jurisdictional leave programs
  • Support the Benefits Team by partnering on data reporting
  • Monitor various Workday alerts
  • Prepare bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports for HR leadership and Finance, including:
    • Time/Status/Headcount reporting
    • Registers
    • Bank reconciliation
    • Cost allocation (including bonus, fringe, and relocation)
    • Benefit withholdings and Retirement basis
    • Jurisdictional reporting
  • Respond to executive, manager, and employee level questions and ad hoc reports
  • Assist with audits as needed
  • Assist and track year-end processes and steps to ensure timely processing
  • Act as backup to Senior Payroll Manager and Tax Administrator

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of payroll experience including team/group supervision
  • Workday payroll experience (including report writing)
  • General human resource knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree or related discipline

  • Exceptional attention to detail and insistence on accuracy
  • Ability to process large amounts of data and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
  • High proficiency with Excel
  • Ability to maintain and secure confidential information
  • High mathematical aptitude
  • Strong research techniques
  • Self-starter, results-oriented team player
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
