Payroll Specialist

Ensign Services, Inc. (“ESI”) seeks an experienced Payroll Resource to play a key role in our growing company, as it serves the needs of our rapidly-expanding heath care services client base across the United States. Our Payroll Resource provides payroll processing support and advice to our skilled nursing facility reps and will have a variety of routine and non-routine payroll functions. This position is based at our San Juan Capistrano, CA Service Center.
Personal Attributes
Superior customer service skills and excellent written and verbal communication are essential to this position. We are looking for someone with a proven track record with payroll system setup, testing and report writing as well as a strong knowledge of the rules & regs of multi-state taxation. You must be able to prioritize, stay organized and work well under time constraints, all while maintaining an attention to detail. Confidentiality is a must in this role.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-4 years of payroll experience.
• Multi-facility experience preferred
• CPP Certification a plus
• Prior experience with payroll software
• Workday software experience a plus
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new system with ease

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
