As a result of its growth initiatives, M3 has a need for an experienced Payroll Administrator who is eager to make a difference and create efficiencies in operations and support growth.
The role of the Payroll Administrator will be to support the US M3 Global Research business units and will be based in Fort Washington, PA. This person must be local to the Greater Philadelphia Area.
The mission of the Payroll Accountant is process paychecks accurately, assist in maintaining employee files, creating various GL reports, and verify all payroll taxes and deductions are in line with government laws. The Payroll Accountant will work closely with the accounting team, the human resources department, and senior management across multiple business units to verify the overall payroll operations are running efficiently within the various business units.

Duties Include :
Process bi-weekly and bi-monthly payroll
Oversee various payroll benefits/deductions (ie: 401k Loan Processing, Garnishments, etc.)
Assist Accounts Payable in any payroll related expenses (ie: Benefits)
Assist in payroll audits and state requests (ie: Worker’s Compensation Audit, 401(k) Audits, Census)
Partner with HR operations to answer payroll related employee questions
Act as administrator for multiple payroll system (UltiPro, Paychex, etc.)
Prepare Payroll Schedules
Run various reports for Human Resources and Accounting (ie: Vacation Reports, General Ledger Reports, Benefits Reports)
Verify payroll and tax documents are accurate, including working on quarterly fallout and variance reports
Maintain confidentiality with respect to payroll and all other business transactions.
Participate in and recommend improvements to the payroll
Prepare other analyses and schedules as required by the Controller.
Prepare and process taxes, including responding to state inquiries.
Process and mail 1099 at year end.
Assist HR to ensure timely and accurate processing of conversions, terminations, bonuses, commissions, raises, and unpaid/paid time off payouts
Requirements
3-5 years of payroll experience
Tax experience or strong knowledge preferred
Teamwork oriented, with excellent people skills
Exceptional time management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
Proactive and efficient
Strong math skills
Excellent interpersonal communication skills – both verbal and written
Familiarity with UltiPro Software and Paychex preferred
Familiarity with NetSuite beneficia
