Description:
Responsible for scheduling patient appointments (surgical, diagnostic therapy and other procedures/treatments). Obtains and verifies necessary demographic and insurance information. Registers patients and enters data into scheduling systems. Maintains records and accounts. Provides professional customer service. Serves patients by greeting and helping them.Qualifications:

High School Diploma, Certificate of Attendance, Certificate of Completion, GED, or equivalent training or experience required. Experience in Healthcare and/or Customer Service setting, Surgery preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Scheduling Systems (i.e. Net Access, Centricity, Pathways Healthcare Scheduling, Chartlinks, etc.). Medical Terminology required. Experience with high volume calls. Excellent verbal and written communication. Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills. Must be organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task. Minimum Required Experience: 3 Years
