Job Description
We Are Hiring: Join Our Team! Ascension Saint Agnes Hospital in Baltimore Maryland is hiring for a Patient Care Technician to work in a full-time position. As a member of our professional care team, you will enjoy a trusting and supportive partnership with our nurses and fellow Patient Care Technicians in delivering exceptional care to our patients. You will utilize your critical thinking and excellent communication skills to report changes in your patient's condition to the nursing team. As a Patient Care Technician, your patients will count on you to assist them with their personal care and activities of daily living needs.
Schedule: Full-time - Rotating working 36.0 hours/week - 7a7p or 7p7a every 3rd weekend and Holiday commitment.

- Aid with entry and exit of patients.
- Assist patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.
- Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
- Document necessary records.
- Responsible for keeping patient rooms clean and orderly as well as maintaining medical equipment.
- BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
