Job description:

Coordinates all patient care activities for Emergency Department Patients. Supervises the Registered Nurses, Paramedics, ED Techs, and Unit Secretaries. Serves as a clinical resource for ED staff and assists other team members with clinical duties. Facilitates flow of ED patients through the department. Works collaboratively with other ancillary departments to facilitate ED patient care. Actively participates in PI projects in the department and completes daily prevalence rounds. Assists with orientation of new employees and provides feedback to Nursing Manager for employee evaluations.

Requirements

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Current/Active Florida Registered Nurse License (RN) OR Approved Multi-State License
  • American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Education 3: Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree
