Job Description

This is a part-time position. Hours are 10 am to 2 pm Monday-Friday.

Artisent Floors is a fast growing, full-service flooring company, and we’re looking for the right people to join our team. We work hard, collaborate closely, and find the right solutions to make our clients happy.

We provide next day flooring service to the Multi-family industry, serving apartment communities in 13 cities from our corporate headquarters in Memphis, TN.

We are seeking a warehouse associate to join our team! The warehouse associate oversees the use and distribution of large amounts of inventory from the warehouse on a daily basis. The warehouse associate works closely with the local branch manager and the inventory manager at the corporate office to ensure a smooth flow of material in and out of the warehouse.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate forklift/or other material handling equipment as part of the distribution process within a fast-paced warehouse setting
  • Utilize equipment while performing tasks to include shipping, moving, locating, relocating, and stacking product
  • Cut and stage materials
  • Load and dispatch subcontractors as well as inspect job installations
  • Correspond with branch managers and account managers to ensure customer needs are met
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of services to customers
  • Keep the warehouse clean and organized

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, understand and follow written documents
  • Exhibit basic math skills and demonstrate an ability to match numbers
  • Ability to follow and meet all safety standards and requirements
  • Ability to multi-task with a great sense of organization and attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment

Education/experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills and ability to operate a forklift are preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
