About the Job

Hours are as follwed

Sunday-10:00 am – 12:00am

Wednesday-5:30 pm-4:30am

As a Shipper/Receiver you will participate in the distribution warehouse activities related to receiving, storing, selecting, shipping, dispatching, and delivery of product to ensure effective and efficient warehouse operations and product transportation

What Does It Take to be a Shipper/Receiver at Dawn Foods?

• Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, electric rider jacks, electric pallet jacks, trailer lift gates and pallet wrap machines
• 6 months of related experience or 1 full year non-related employment experience
• Ability to move or lift product from 50-80 lbs
• Ability to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to withstand cool and/or cold temperatures

What You'll Do as a Shipper/Receiver:

• Correctly select, palletize, and shrink wrap customers’ orders preparing them for delivery.
• Receive and stock inbound product in its designated locations. Rotate and replenish current stock in its designated locations.
• Safely load trailers in an even and productive fashion
• Ability to understand and operate handheld computer and scanning devices for SAP that is used for all aspects of warehouse operations
• Maintain cleanliness of entire warehouse and practice safe food handling procedures by learning and practicing American Institute of Baking (AIB) standards for warehouse sanitation
• Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein
• Support the Circle of Excellence and the Dawn Philosophy of Team Dawn

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 80 pounds and frequently lift and/or move 50 pounds.
