OVERVIEW

J.W. Hulme is looking for an energetic, service focused Retail Sales Associate to create an exceptional customer experience and become a brand ambassador for J.W Hulme. This dynamic individual will be responsible for maintaining an excellent client experience through completion of customer service duties, policies, and procedures – in store and over the phone. Answering client inquiries/selling product through exceptional product and brand knowledge. Maintaining the cleanliness and displays of the store, merchandising, working with customers and offering outstanding customer service daily.

  • Positions are located in Saint Paul & Edina Retail Stores
  • Hourly compensation is based on level of experience.
  • This position is part-time

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Opening and closing the store
  • Assist in-store customers with premier customer service
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the store
  • Responding to customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-store
  • Point of Sale transactions and assisting with in-store/online returns
  • Merchandise and maintain store display
  • Assisting in inventory input, organization and tracking
  • Serve as a resource for the coordination, execution, and communication of overall product information and detail for: Customer Service, product knowledge, company history
  • Communication and partnership with internal teams
  • Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior retail experience focused on customer service (1yr minimum)
  • Ability to establish strong rapport with customers- connect, create and build relationships with frequent customers
  • Demonstrate leadership skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to multitask
  • High degree of organizational skill and problem-solving ability; specifically, the ability to work as a self-starter
  • Eager to learn about the many fields of retail business
  • Able to work well independently and in team setting
  • Articulate, mature, personable, and professional
  • Punctual, reliable, and honest
