PART-TIME

MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST/PATIENT CARE COORDINATOR

This position is a part-time role and will require the candidate to be able to schedule new and existing patients on the phone or in-person for appointments and coordinating the flow of patients from the reception area to the medical, chiropractic and physical therapy areas in addition to collecting office fees and other front desk administrative duties.

This position is vital to creating and maintaining a positive experience for prospective and existing patients and therefore requires an organized upbeat and caring candidate for this role.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • An upbeat and friendly personality that is also caring and empathetic
  • Neat and professional in appearance
  • At least 1 year of Front Desk experience in a Medical, Chiropractic, or Physical Therapy office
  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication skills (in person and on the phone)

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Call new patient leads from marketing campaigns
  • Manage patient registration
  • Check patients in and out
  • Reschedule and recapture missed patient appointments
  • Confirming of existing patient appointments.
  • Follow up calls to referring doctors for updated prescriptions and plans of care
  • Collect daily office visit payments and post to patient accounts
  • Complete Insurance Verifications
  • Perform Insurance Pre-Certifications
  • Prepare and present financials with patients
  • Liaison to Billing Manager
  • Familiar with Eclipse practice management software is a plus

Business Hours:

  • Monday – 8:45am -7:15pm
  • Tuesday - 8:45am - 7:15pm
  • Wednesday - 8:45pm - 5:15pm
  • Thursday - 8:45am - 7:15pm

*Part-Time hours will fall somewhere between the above hours depending on need and availability
