Part Time Junior Merchandiser - Sherman Oaks, CA

Job Summary:

A Junior Merchandiser works with one or more of Winston Retail s clients to support their on-floor presence by expediting stock to the selling floor. The key focus will be on product placement, replenishment and recovery by following a visual directive and guideline. You will be required to provide photos and reports for each visit which are communicated via Winston s proprietary web based store visit reporting site. In this position, you will either work independently or as part of a team, as requested.

Experience Requirements:

• 1-2 years experience within a department, specialty or retail store.

• Previous work as a stock or sales associate with an apparel, accessory or footwear company

Required Skills:

• Ability to work independently

• Communicates timely and effectively

• Ability to maneuver inside a stockroom

• Execute from clients directives and substitute if necessary based on inventory

• Ability to adhere to deadlines regarding calendar confirmation, service report submissions, invoicing, etc.

• Intermediate to advance computer knowledge (Excel, Word, email and digital photography)

• Proficient in capturing crisp, clear mirror image photography (before and after photos to showcasing completed work)

• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds

Preferred Skills:

• Ability to work independently

• Comfortable speaking with store management.

• Superior visual merchandising expertise

• Dressing mannequins (preferred)

• Creative thinker

• Communicates timely and effectively (both verbal and written)

• Past experience working with planograms/directives

• Computer / tech savvy

• Proficient in capturing crisp, clear mirror image photography (before and after photos showcasing completed work)

• Client liaison with all store personnel - strong relationships at the door level a must!

• Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
