Part-Time Experienced File Clerk Needed (Woodstock, NY)

compensation: $13 - $15 Per Hour Depending on Training and Experience

We are an independent established bookkeeping firm seeking an organized, detail-oriented File Clerk to join our team one or two days a week. You will be responsible for processing paperwork and documents as they come in, organizing them in the proper files for reference. Attention to detail is vital in this role to ensure information can be retrieved quickly and easily. Candidates must have experience in an office administrative role and the ability to work independently.

Your Proficiencies:

  • Microsoft Office products
  • Process and file documents and paperwork
  • Scan files and upload digital copies to the database
  • Maintain and organize both the digital and hardcopy filing systems
  • Retrieve documents and paperwork when requested
  • Deliver requested files to staff members
  • Make necessary updates to records with new information; remove or archive any records that are outdated or obsolete
  • Client Invoicing
  • Keen attention to detail

Job Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office expert
  • 1+ years of experience in an office environment preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detail and deadline oriented
  • Effective internal and customer-service communication

Physical Expectation:

  • Small home office setting. Sitting, standing, computer work, paperwork, phone calls, are some of the physical expectations of this job.
