Arbors Management Inc. has an opening in the Millvale, PA area for a Part-Time Maintenance Technician 2. This position will assist in basic maintenance of a Senior apartment building performing unit turn-overs, plumbing and electrical repairs and grounds-keeping / custodial duties. Hours are flexible to meet your schedule.

As the Part-Time Building Maintenance Technician 2, your responsibilities will include:

• Performing physical and visible inspection of property grounds including outside areas, indoor commons areas and individual apartment units
• Communicating with tenants regarding repairs
• Performing needed repairs which will consist of the following:
  • Painting
  • Drywall repair
  • Basic electrical repair (switches, outlets, fixtures, etc.)
  • Basic plumbing repair (leaks, fixture changes, drain clogs, etc.)
  • Cleaning including floors, restrooms and other public areas
  • Grounds-keeping including grass cutting and snow removal
• Completing work orders for all repairs
• Working with the property manager for work instructions
• Handling emergency calls after hours as needed

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 2 years experience working in a building maintenance position (or related experience)
• Physical ability to stand, bend, walk, stoop, crawl and/or climb for the duration of an 8-hour shift
• Ability to perform work in all skill areas listed above
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to use a computer
• Must pass pre-employment drug and background screen
• Must have valid drivers license and personal vehicle

Pay for this position is $22.00 per hour.
