You will serve as a Painter Leader in the MRO Production Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.


Responsibilities
  • You will assure that safe practices and good housekeeping procedures are followed.

  • You will report on the status and progress of work and cause of work delays.

The Screen-out Element for this position is: 1) Assign tasks to shop personnel and checks work in progress to assure procedures, methods, and practices are consistent with established policy and that standards are met; 2) Acting as a team leader over Painters and Painter Workers while working away from the immediate shop area (field team), in the long-term absence of the supervisor, or in special circumstances within the Production Department; 3) Communicate from higher authority to other employees and urging compliance with procedures to meet deadlines; 4) Troubleshoot and experiment with painting processes to ensure that the desired result is achieved; 5) Utilize journeyman knowledge of the painter trade to train subordinates on complex problems handled on the job.
