Overview:
The person in this position works under RN supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week as required on the Gulf Breeze Hospital and Baptist Hospital campuses, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.Qualifications:

The Pain Management Technician provides support for physicians and RN's throughout pain procedures by preparing, providing and caring for instruments and equipment, and maintaining a sterile field. Other duties may include floating to PACU Nerve Block area to assist RN with sterile tray set up for nerve block procedures.

- High School Diploma or General Education Degree
- BLS through American Heart Association
- Knowledge of pain procedures, instruments, equipment and supply management and decontamination of equipment with demonstrated competency.
- Ability to read and understand the English Language
- Strong attention to detail, organizational and follow through skills required
