Job Description
Pacific Rehab Consultants is a growing rehabilitation group in Southern California seeking additional midlevel providers with experience in PM&R, Orthopedics, Neurology, SNF or Rehabilitation care. We are expanding but also seek out team members who fit our company's core values.
Our ideal candidate has excellent bedside manner and clinical skills to match. PA/NPs with our group are confident with all aspects of acute and subacute rehabilitation medicine after completion of in-house training (as warranted by experience).
Initial responsibilities will include providing outstanding care and coordinated rehabilitation effort within skilled nursing facilities under the supervision of a PM&R physician. With expansion, future opportunities for PM&R/Regen outpatient and/or acute/hospital-based coverage will be available, if desired.
Clinical Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive PM&R evaluations, Consultation, and Follow-up visits
  • Prescribe medications, order and interpret laboratory testing and imaging when clinically appropriate, all according to PRC Standard Operating Procedure
  • Work with a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team to optimize patient experience and outcomes
  • Education of nursing and therapists onsite for delivery of best care
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians of various specialties for continuity
  • Documentation of all patient interactions with use of electronic medical record (Elation Health)

Personal Qualifications:
  • Expert level clinical acumen
  • Effective and efficient problem-solving skills
  • Caring and compassionate to patients, staff and colleagues alike
  • Team player with excellent communication skills
  • PA-C or FNP certified by respective board
  • Current license to practice in the state of California
  • Current DEA license
