As an Overnight Receiving Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing overnight receiving, processing and overall back-of-house operations for a multi-million dollar retail store operation. You’ll lead by example and provide feedback to team members on a regular basis to ensure that best practices for receiving, ticketing, sorting, and moving merchandise are properly implemented. Your organizational skills and ability to successfully coach a diverse team through every phase of the Stock and Merchandise Flow process will be critical in driving results. The Overnight Receiving Manager will be expected to solely manage the overnight receiving team, and reports into the Store Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Coach, train, and develop the overnight receiving team in the receiving, processing, ticketing, sorting, and displaying of merchandise from the shipping/receiving platform to the sales floor while continuously evaluating associate performance.
  • Manage the receiving process, transfers, debits/damages, and charge-backs to maintain the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Interview and hire qualified applicants to meet the needs of the shift, then oversee on-boarding, orientation, and training of all new associates.
  • Manage the overall execution of all receiving Standard operating Procedures.
  • Manage HR Initiatives/HR Compliance in partnership with Store Manager.
  • Audit, validate and report on inventory using purchase orders and ticketing.
  • Safeguard company assets by securing the facility

Candidates must have 3+ years of Retail Management experience at an Off Price, Big Box, Specialty or medium to large-sized, multi-unit retail organization with experience in Store Operations, HR and Asset Protection. The position requires and ability to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, holidays and required travel, as needed. Candidates must also be able to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs. and should be comfortable utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software.

Pay: $23.00 - $43.00 per hour
