Order Processing Specialist

We are looking for an Order Processing Specialist who is a team player with excellent task management, superb attention to detail and the passion to grow with the company!

Job Responsibilities:

• Performs daily duties of shipping processes including monitor and download daily transactions for warehouse to complete daily processes.
• Execute and manage projects within the shipping area and with other departments.
• Utilizes in-house software to maintain shipping & operations flow.
• Monitors and execute end-of-day processes.
• Coordinates and monitor the full shipment receiving process by preparing shipments for receiving team in advance and resolve discrepancies.
• Troubleshoots shipping and inventory issues.
• Ensures files are maintained systematically.
• Drives improvements in shipping operations.
• Conducts packaging analysis to reduce products being damaged in transit in the most cost-efficient way.
• Maintains local Vendors.
• Evaluates current processes by creating and maintaining process documentation on a regular basis.
• Organizes records of shipments for year-end audits.
• Participates in a learning environment by absorbing information from coworkers, trainings materials and business processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum one year of order processing experience in a high-distribution facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree or higher degree in Business, Marketing or other related majors.
• Previous experience working in eCommerce industry.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook).
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds.
• Able to recognize and resolve problems quickly using sound judgment and diplomacy.
• Maintains high level of accuracy under tight deadlines.
• Self-starter who takes initiative with little direction.
• Professional telephone skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to use tact and diplomacy.
• Good oral & written communication abilities.
• Good writing skills, including grammar & spelling.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative.
• Good organizational skills.
• Ability to be a team player.
• Ability to operate office machines (e.g., copy machines, postage meter, etc.).
