Oracle EPM Cloud Managing Specialist

Work you’ll do


As a Gold-level member of the Oracle Partner Network, an Oracle Cloud Excellence Implementer (CEI) and one the fastest growing Oracle Cloud SI’s in North America, Cloudworks needs thought leaders like yourself to help pave the way for our clients and our Cloud service line development. For our clients, our Oracle Cloud professionals reduce cost and support innovation at the enterprise level by managing business requirements and leading the functional design, prototyping, and process design stages of Oracle Cloud implementations. Responsibilities will include:


  • Client Management: Manage day-to-day interactions with executive clients, sponsors, project managers, and team members.
  • Delivery: Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement technology and creative business solutions for large companies. Responsibilities include, among others, identification of business requirements, functional and technical design, process design, solution configuration and integration, testing, training, and providing post-go-live support.
  • Business Development: Develop and maintain contact with decision makers at key clients; participate and lead aspects of the proposal development process; contribute to the development of proposal pricing strategies.
  • People Development: Perform role of mentor; provide input and guidance into the staffing process; actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities; provide leadership and support for delivery team members and staff.
  • Eminence: Develop thought leadership to share insights and points of view with existing and potential clients.

Qualifications


Required


  • Senior architect professional with examples of major contributions to Oracle EPM Cloud or on-premise implementation initiatives.
  • Experience in designing, developing and implementing Financial Planning, Budgeting, Allocation and Consolidations Solutions using Oracle EPM, including FCCS, EPBCS, PCMCS, ARCS, EPRCS, Hyperion Financial Management, Hyperion Financial planning, reporting and Smart View.
  • Experience with technical aspects of Essbase (BSO/ASO) including technical expertise of Essbase Calculation Script.
  • Demonstrated experience in development of integrated solution architecture, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to-be business process designs, prototypes, functional configuration, testing, client user training.
  • Experience reporting to senior client contacts, managing client teams, in addition to on- and off-site, and off-shore functional and technical teams.
  • Experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint)
  • Limited Travel Required (Project Milestone Travel)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in business with specializations in Finance, Accounting or Management Information Systems).

Preferred


  • Experience on complex, international, multi-currency and multi-organization implementations.
  • 3+ years of consulting experience which includes contributing to requests for proposals (RFP), client presentations, detailing the scope of work (SOW).
  • Holds certifications/specializations for implementation Oracle EPM applications.
  • Ability to work independently, lead projects and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology.
  • Familiar with the project management methodologies including agile and hybrid implementations
  • Experience and interest in various programming languages (VBA, Python, SQL, BAT, BSH, Groovy etc.).
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Commitment to gaining exposure in multiple industries.
  • Experience mentoring and training fellow staff and clients on functional and technical topics of the Oracle EPM product suite.

Our offices are in Toronto, Mississauga, Calgary and Kansas, but we are open to candidates from across Canada and the U.S.A. as we give our staff the flexibility to work remotely.
