Operations Manager - Warehouse

POSITION: OPERATIONS MANAGER
WHERE: POMPANO, FL

Position Summary:

Responsible for managing and undertaking the daily process of Shipping, Receiving, Material Handling, and Inventory Control for the Stonhard Warehouse in Pompano FL. This covers the outbound/inbound activity, including generating all inbound, and outbound documentation for shipments into/out of the facility, conducting physical inventories and cycle counts as required; monitoring inventory accuracy for all material transaction activity. Ensuring at all times that all equipment and utilities at the facility are properly and safely functioning.

Specific Requirements:

· Responsible for the daily Material Handling, Shipping/Receiving, and Inventory control work processes at the Pompano warehouse facility.

· Works closely as required with Sales Administration, Planning, QC, and Tech Service Departments to facilitate the coordination, allocation, and movement of materials pertaining to the facility.

· Unloads, loads, stages, pulls, packs, labels and skids materials in safe and efficient manner as required for all inbound/outbound activity of the Reports all damaged products and materials. Makes any necessary adjustments to maintain accurate inventory at the facility.

· Generates all proper documentation (system receipts, pick/pack lists, labels, bills-of-ladings, plus any other specifically required documents) for inbound/outbound shipments.

· Conducts regular inventory cycle counts as directed by the Inventory Control Manager.

· Submits system requisitions to Procurement Dept for supplies and services necessary to support the functioning of the facility.

· Maintains warehouse facility in a neat, clean and orderly manner in accordance with company policies. Abides by safety regulations, reports and completes accident reports, and eliminates potential and actual safety hazards.

Background Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years in warehouse management operations
• Forklift operation and Certification
• Hazardous materials training and certification (DOT/IATA/IMDG)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
