WOW Logistics is now hiring for an Operations Coordinator!

This clerical position is our face to our customers and is vital in communicating and coordinating all work at our distribution centers to support our customers, truck drivers, and warehouse employees. The Operations Coordinator carries out all customer service activities such as responding to inquiries, processing orders, and handling complaints, in a prompt, courteous, and effective manner. Other responsibilities include answering phones and other clerical duties as directed by the Manager.


Hours: The work schedule will include 12 hour shifts that support a 24/7 operation that may include nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Positive people with a “can do” attitude that like to work hard and have fun doing it
  • Excellent communicator
  • Coordination of all loads entering and leaving the warehouse
  • Communication with customers, truck drivers, dispatchers, leaders and warehouse employees
  • Data entry of all inventory creating invoices and bills of lading
  • Problem solving and quality control as requested by customers or leaders
  • Inventory control
  • Exceptional math skills with a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Complete tasks within time-critical deadlines
  • Ensure accuracy of all shipments (inventory, weight, item numbers)
  • Provide and request proper documentation/backup for incoming/outgoing freights
  • Answer incoming calls and transfer accordingly
  • Place service calls as needed
  • Order supplies for the office
  • Additional duties as requested by the manager/supervisor


Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred knowledge in a WMS system
  • Exceptional math skills with a high level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and under little supervision
  • Strong ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong typing and computer skills with knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook
