Job Description

The Operations and Project Manager of the Center for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion will assist in fostering the empowerment of Questrom School of Business students to become skillful problem-solvers and experienced decision-makers, well positioned to emerge as the business leaders of tomorrow. This position will report to the Director of the Center for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. This position will work closely with the Center Director to help meet the needs and ensure the success of Questrom students, including championing our Ascend Fellowship Program and myQuestrom student organizations. Furthermore, the Operations and Project Manager will oversee and manage operations, communications, and reporting functions of the Center and provide administrative logistics to the Director of the Center and the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Professional Development will be provided to ensure continual growth, and additional responsibilities can be added based on the Operations and Project Manager’s interests and aspirations.

Required Skills
  • At least 3 years of experience in fields related to higher education administration, student affairs, advising, or supporting underrepresented populations
  • Bachelors Degree required, or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Dedication to service and ability to effectively navigate thoughtful conversations
  • Knowledge of identity-conscious practices and demonstrated initiative for diversity, equity, and inclusion programs and services
  • Ability to work some evening and weekend hours

Position Preferences:

  • Documented Project Management skills and successful communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to handle exceptions to processes and work assignments with maturity and effectiveness
  • Capacity to work independently and take initiative
