General Purpose
The Operational Administrative Specialist supports the operational and administrative efforts for field operations. This position is responsible for understanding, supporting, and assisting the operational teams assigned with client specific administrative tasks and develops a thorough understanding of all department operating policies and procedures.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Updates daily crew schedules and communicate with internal staff
  • Processes construction job packets, coordinates with the Permit Technician and initiates work order creation
  • Maintains and organizes document storage and retention
  • Researches and responds to inquiries from internal departments regarding billing units, time, and expenses
  • Supports the coordination of third-party vendor rentals and repairs for individual projects
  • Maintains logs and minutes of phone calls, discussions, requests, and events for internal and external clients

Other Duties/Responsibilities

  • Performs other duties as assigned

Employees are held accountable for all duties of this job.

Experience:

  • Two (2+) plus years of administration experience is required
  • Prior experience in the construction industry is preferred
  • Prior crew coordination experience is preferred
  • Prior scheduling experience is preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year to year basis

Additional Requirements/Licenses/Certifications:

  • Possession of a valid State Driver’s License is required
  • Candidates must pass Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and pass a pre-employment drug screen

Education or Formal Training:

  • HS Diploma or GED
