Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Ensure file organization based on office protocol.
  • Provide administrative support to other team members with data entry, paperwork, material requisitions, and other assigned duties when needed.
  • Act as an office manager by keeping up with office supply inventory, business licenses, truck logs, and vehicle tags/registration, etc.
  • Assist with AFSO with security forms and other shipyard access requirements.
  • Act as the point of contact for all issues related to the printer/copier and other office equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the team and provide assistance as needed.
  • Communicate and handle incoming/outgoing electronic and phone communications in a professional demeanor as well as greeting incoming visitors and/or employees.
  • Ensure accuracy, completion and computation of employees’ weekly timecards.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent.
  • 2 year of experience as an administrative assistant or similar position required.
  • Proficient computer skills and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.).
  • Able to maintain excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects at once.
  • GREAT communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member. Initial phone interviews to be conducted for potential candidates followed up with in-person interview with final selectees.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
