Job Description

We are currently seeking a part-time office assitant/front desk person for late afternoon/early evenings.

Summary:

Performs a variety of clerical/administative services to ensure the effiient operation of the facility's office. Position hours are Monday-Friday 3pm-7pm and 8 hours on Saturday's and Sunday's.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answers the telephone in a professional manner; directs calls to appropriate individuals, and/or takes messages.
  • Faxes and photocopies information as needed.
  • Accurately maintains records in complaiance with company standards.
  • Using a PC, may generate correspondence, statistical data, special reports, etc.
  • Assists residents, family members, and others with inquiries regarding Resident and facility information.
  • Assists with COVID screening for staff and visitors.

Entry Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient in the use of personal computer.

Physical Demands and Enironment

Working in normal office envirnment, employee may be required to sit, bend, stoop, use keyboard, use multi-line phone system, see, talk and hear. May occasionally lift objects of 10 to 25lbs. In compliance with applicable law, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position.

Other Requirements

Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of resident's protected health information. Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.
