WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for the next NYC Culture & Engagement Coordinator, who has a proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You have strong organization skills, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, experience cultivating a strong team culture and inclusive working environment, and an affinity for developing trusted relationships. You have the ability and agility to take initiative in dynamic work environment, a keen attention to detail, an understanding of NYC and the surrounding area, and a desire to learn and grow.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

From the outset, you will own a variety of engagement platforms, which include regular team huddles, curating and sharing sports and NYC cultures updates, and spearheading other themed events. Additionally, you will engage in a wide range of work, including complex calendar management; booking travel; coordinating meetings and designing all-team events; onboarding new teammates and leaders; producing; preparing expense reports and purchase orders; updating organizational charts; and providing support to a large diverse team of people with a variety of management styles.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

As our NYC Culture & Engagement Coordinator, you will directly support the VP, Key City Leader for NYC. You will also work closely with the NYC Leadership Team and other key functions, including but not limited to Human Resources, Communications, Social & Community Impact, and Workplace Design & Connectivity.

WHAT YOU BRING TO NIKE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 3 years of administrative work experience required
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively with a variety of personalities including senior level executives
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented, team environment with sometimes high levels of ambiguity and independence with sometimes varying working hours
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and appropriately handle highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience creating high-quality presentations utilizing PowerPoint is required
  • Highly Proficient in Keynote, Illustrator, Excel and Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to take initiative, follow-through on requests until completion, and utilize a keen attention to detail
  • Previous experience working with budgets is strongly preferred
  • Previous Nike work experience is a plus
  • An understanding of NYC and its surrounding areas
  • Ability to occasionally work outside of core business hours
